Senior Compliance Professional – Humana, Glendale (Denver), US
Humana is seeking a Senior Compliance Professional to join its Glendale (Denver) team. In this senior role you will drive compliance with complex regulatory and contractual obligations, reporting directly to the Associate Director of Compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, interpret, and apply federal, state, and local regulations to Humana’s operations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
- Conduct risk assessments and internal audits for moderately complex to complex compliance matters.
- Provide guidance and training to business units on regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Prepare and present compliance reports to senior leadership and external auditors.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and operational teams to resolve compliance issues promptly.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Healthcare Administration, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CCEP, CRCM) preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive compliance experience in a highly regulated industry, preferably healthcare.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, Medicare/Medicaid rules, and other relevant statutes.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
- Proven ability to communicate complex regulatory concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Compensation & Benefits
