Job Summary
Humana is seeking a Senior Compliance Professional in Chisolm, Montgomery County, US. This senior‑level role reports to the Associate Director of Compliance and is responsible for overseeing complex regulatory and contractual compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret, implement, and monitor federal, state, and local regulations affecting Humana’s operations.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop remediation plans for moderately complex to complex compliance issues.
- Lead internal audits, prepare detailed reports, and coordinate corrective actions with business units.
- Advise senior leadership on compliance strategy, policy updates, and emerging regulatory trends.
- Maintain and update compliance documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior compliance staff and cross‑functional teams.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations to align compliance initiatives with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in compliance, preferably within the healthcare or insurance sector.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA, ACA, Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and other relevant statutes.
- Proven ability to analyze complex regulatory language and translate it into actionable policies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Detail‑oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Compensation
