Job Summary

Humana is seeking a Senior Compliance Professional in Phoenix, Maricopa County, US. This senior‑level role reports to the Associate Director of Compliance and is responsible for overseeing complex regulatory and contractual compliance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and apply federal, state, and local regulations to ensure organizational adherence.
• Lead investigations of moderately complex to complex compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop, maintain, and update compliance policies, procedures, and monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, operations, and business units to align compliance activities with strategic goals.
• Prepare and present compliance reports for senior leadership and external auditors.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote a culture of compliance.
• Monitor contractual obligations and ensure contractual compliance with partners and vendors.
• Stay current on emerging regulatory trends and advise the organization on potential impacts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Healthcare Administration, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CCEP, CCEP) preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive compliance experience in a corporate or healthcare environment.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven ability to work independently and influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience with compliance management systems and data analytics tools.

Compensation

Salary range: $93,312.68 per year.
