MEP VDC Production Modeler

Actalent is hiring a MEP VDC Production Modeler on a long‑term contract with a path to direct hire in Saint Bernard, Hamilton County, US. This role focuses on creating detailed, constructible mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) models from concept through fabrication.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high‑quality 3D MEP models using Revit, Navisworks and other VDC tools.
• Translate early engineering designs into constructible models that meet project specifications and code requirements.
• Coordinate with design engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure model accuracy and clash‑free coordination.
• Produce fabrication‑level detail, including pipe routing, equipment placement, and conduit layouts.
• Generate and maintain model documentation, schedules, and as‑built drawings.
• Support BIM execution plans, quality control processes, and model review meetings.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in MEP modeling and VDC environments.
• Proficient in Revit MEP, Navisworks, AutoCAD MEP, and related BIM software.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, codes, and construction methods.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to resolve design clashes.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
