About This Position
Actalent is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer in Newburgh Heights, Cuyahoga County, US. This role involves creating detailed electrical designs for large‑scale industrial projects across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop precise electrical schematics, layouts, and detail drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Interpret and apply NEC, IEC, and other relevant electrical codes.
- Design power distribution systems for agricultural, manufacturing, power, refinery, and commercial/industrial facilities.
- Coordinate with project engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure design compliance and constructability.
- Perform load calculations, short‑circuit analysis, and grounding studies.
- Prepare design documentation, bill of materials, and technical specifications.
- Review and incorporate client feedback, resolve design issues, and support construction phases.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in electrical design for industrial projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (MEP) with strong drafting skills.
- In‑depth knowledge of NEC, IEC standards, and power distribution fundamentals.
- Experience with load calculations, panel schedules, conduit sizing, and lighting design.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
Compensation & Benefits
