We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex electrical infrastructure projects for a nationwide client base. In this fully remote role, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure compliance with industry standards while working from the comfort of your home office. Join a dynamic organization that values innovation, safety, and sustainable energy solutions.

About the Role

As a Remote Electrical Project Manager, you will be the driving force behind high‑impact electrical projects ranging from utility‑scale solar farms to commercial building retrofits. You will partner with engineers, contractors, and clients to define scope, develop detailed work plans, and monitor progress through every phase—design, procurement, installation, and commissioning. Your ability to anticipate risks, resolve issues quickly, and keep stakeholders informed will be critical to delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop project charters, schedules, and cost estimates using industry‑standard tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
  • Lead cross‑functional teams, assigning tasks and tracking performance against milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local electrical codes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate weekly progress meetings, prepare status reports, and escalate issues to senior leadership when needed.
  • Manage subcontractor relationships, negotiate change orders, and maintain rigorous quality assurance processes.
  • Oversee procurement of electrical equipment, coordinate logistics, and verify material specifications.
  • Conduct post‑project reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (PE license preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience managing electrical projects, preferably in renewable energy, commercial, or industrial sectors.
  • Proven track record of delivering multi‑million‑dollar projects on schedule and within budget.

Technical & Soft Skills

  • Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet) and CAD/BIM tools.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and control wiring.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Sharp analytical mindset with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
  • Self‑motivated, disciplined, and capable of thriving in a fully remote work environment.

Benefits

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary range: $95,000 – $125,000 USD per year, commensurate with experience.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • 401(k) with company matching and immediate vesting.
  • Generous paid time off, including holidays and parental leave.
  • Annual professional development stipend for certifications (PMP, PE, etc.).
  • Flexible remote work setup—home office stipend and ergonomic equipment provided.
  • Opportunity to work on pioneering renewable energy projects that make a measurable impact on the grid.

If you are ready to lead complex electrical initiatives from anywhere in the United States while contributing to a greener future, we encourage you to explore this opportunity further. Your expertise will help shape the next generation of power infrastructure, all without ever leaving your home office.
