Product Manager – Pro Brands

Job Summary

Rust-Oleum Corporation is seeking a Product Manager for its Pro Brands division in Vernon Hills, Lake County, IL. This hybrid role (two remote days per week) drives product strategy, pricing, and go‑to‑market plans for Roofing and Professional Flooring platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product roadmap for Roofing and Professional Flooring portfolios, aligning with corporate growth objectives.
• Develop brand positioning, new‑product concepts, and lifecycle management strategies.
• Lead cross‑functional teams—including R&D, marketing, sales, and supply chain—to bring products from ideation to market launch.
• Create pricing models and revenue forecasts; monitor market trends and competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with the Director of Product Management to set KPI targets and report performance metrics.
• Conduct customer and market research to identify unmet needs and innovation opportunities.
• Manage product documentation, specifications, and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of product management experience in building materials, coatings, or related industries.
• Proven track record of launching successful products and driving profitable growth.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in pricing strategy and financial modeling.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and traveling to the Vernon Hills or Brooklyn Park sites as needed.
