Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage software releases across the VA’s Health Services Portfolio Technical Management and Strategic Solutioning Support (HTMS) program.
• Ensure releases follow VA‑approved processes, timelines, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, infrastructure, and stakeholder teams to define release scope, risk, and mitigation strategies.
• Maintain release calendars, documentation, and post‑release reporting.
• Facilitate release readiness reviews, change advisory board (CAB) meetings, and rollback procedures.
• Monitor release performance, identify improvement opportunities, and drive continuous delivery best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in release management or related IT delivery roles.
• Demonstrated expertise with ITIL, Agile, and DevOps release frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Eligibility for United States Suitability/Public Trust clearance.
