Business Development Manager

Verto People is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to work remotely across the UK, based in Manchester, Greater Manchester. You will drive growth and manage key accounts for a leading HVAC manufacturer specializing in bespoke Air Handling Units.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the UK HVAC market.
• Develop and nurture relationships with prestigious key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Present and sell customized Air Handling Units (AHU) and related solutions.
• Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and service teams to deliver tailored solutions.
• Track sales performance against targets and report progress to senior management.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven track record in B2B sales and key‑account management within the HVAC or mechanical services sector.
• Strong understanding of AHU technology, ventilation systems, and related products.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to work remotely and manage a diverse client portfolio.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for client meetings.
