About the Role

In this fully remote position, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, prescribe and manage medications, and offer psychotherapy via video conferencing. You will serve a diverse patient population across multiple states, ensuring culturally competent care and adherence to evidence‑based guidelines. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and risk assessments for new and existing patients.
• Develop and adjust personalized treatment plans, including medication management and therapeutic interventions.
• Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychotropic medications in accordance with state regulations and best practices.
• Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy using evidence‑based modalities (CBT, DBT, ACT, etc.).
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and primary care providers to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Participate in weekly clinical case conferences, quality improvement initiatives, and peer review.

Requirements

Candidates must possess an active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license with a psychiatric/mental health specialty certification. Experience in telepsychiatry or outpatient mental health settings is highly preferred. Strong communication skills, cultural humility, and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric/Mental Health.
• Current ANCC or AANP certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
• Active RN and NP licensure in at least one state; eligibility for multi‑state licensure (e.g., Compact) is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating adult, adolescent, or geriatric psychiatric populations.

Salary Range
