About the Role

As a Water Resources Engineer, you will design, analyze, and optimize water systems to meet the growing demands of a changing climate. Your work will involve modeling watershed dynamics, assessing flood risks, and developing strategies for water conservation and reuse. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions for municipal, agricultural, and industrial clients—all while working remotely from your preferred location.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop hydrologic and hydraulic models using industry-standard software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM, MIKE SHE)
• Conduct water quality assessments and recommend treatment solutions
• Design stormwater management systems and flood mitigation plans
• Perform environmental impact analyses for water-related infrastructure projects
• Collaborate with GIS specialists, environmental scientists, and project managers to deliver comprehensive solutions
• Stay current with evolving regulations and emerging technologies in water resource management

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in water resources engineering or a similar role
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 2 years

Salary Range
