Job Summary

MARKS IT SOLUTIONS LLC is seeking an experienced IBM z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition (zCEE) Consultant to work remotely from anywhere in the United States. The role focuses on installing, upgrading, and configuring zCEE environments to drive OpenAPI Specification 3 (OAS3) adoption and mainframe API modernization.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade IBM z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition (zCEE) on z/OS platforms.
• Design and implement OAS3‑based API solutions for legacy mainframe systems.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate zCEE with existing middleware and cloud services.
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for zCEE environments.
• Create documentation, best‑practice guides, and training materials for internal stakeholders.
• Participate in client workshops and support API modernization initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with IBM z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition.
• Strong knowledge of OpenAPI Specification 3 (OAS3) and RESTful API design.
• Proficiency in z/OS system administration, JCL, and mainframe networking.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools in a mainframe context.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• IBM Certified z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition Specialist.
• Familiarity with IBM Cloud Pak for Integration or similar integration platforms.
• Experience in Agile project environments.

Compensation

Annual salary: $136,433.97 (fixed).
