People First Ltd is seeking a Cantonese or Mandarin speaking IT Operator for a banking client in Farringdon, Central London. This role offers a competitive salary up to £54,000 and a mix of office and remote working.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first‑line IT support to banking users, troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues.
• Monitor and maintain critical banking systems, ensuring 24/7 availability.
• Log incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system following ITIL best practices.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on system upgrades and security patches.
• Assist with user onboarding and device provisioning, delivering support in Cantonese or Mandarin as required.
• Participate in shift handovers and produce clear documentation for continuity.

Required Skills & Experience

• Fluent spoken and written Cantonese or Mandarin.
• Proven experience in IT operations or help‑desk support, preferably within a financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Office 365, and basic networking concepts.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a shift‑based team.

Working Hours & Location

• Morning shift: 08:30 – 16:30 (80% office attendance per month).
• Normal shift: 09:00 – 17:00 (80% office attendance per month).
• Night shift: 14:30 – 22:30 (fully remote – work from home).
• Start date: ASAP.
