Senior Fire Engineer – Remote

Liquid is seeking two Senior Fire Engineers to work remotely on UK projects while being based in Hyde Park, Leeds. This senior role offers a competitive salary of £85,000 and the chance to contribute to award‑winning fire engineering and building safety consultancy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead fire engineering design for residential, commercial and mixed‑use developments across the UK.
• Produce fire strategy reports, calculations, and compliance documentation in line with UK Building Regulations and BS 7974.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers and client teams to integrate fire safety solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers, review their work and ensure high technical standards.
• Support business development by preparing proposals, tender responses and presenting technical solutions to clients.

Required Skills & Experience

• Qualified Chartered Fire Engineer (Chartered Engineer status or equivalent).
• Minimum 7 years experience in fire engineering, preferably within a consultancy environment.
• Proven track record delivering fire safety design for large‑scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation, NFPA standards and performance‑based design.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team.
