EDI IBM Sterling Developer

Tech Observer is seeking an experienced EDI IBM Sterling Integrator Developer for a 100% remote role based in the United States. This senior position offers a fixed salary of $79,350.62 per year.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy end‑to‑end EDI solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (v5.2.6 or higher).
• Maintain, support, and monitor the IBM Sterling Commerce application, including all modules and pipelines.
• Lead the creation and optimization of business process models (BPML) and custom adapters.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless data interchange with trading partners.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of hands‑on experience with IBM Sterling Integrator.
• Proven expertise in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator version 5.2.6 or later.
• Strong knowledge of EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, etc.) and B2B communication protocols.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and supporting IBM Sterling Commerce modules, pipelines, and adapters.
• Solid understanding of business process modeling (BPML) and ability to create custom adapters.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
