Job Summary

Meridian Illinois is seeking a Registered Dietician Nutritionist to join its Medical Management/Health Services team. This remote position is based in Sorento, Bond County, Illinois, with occasional travel for events.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans for members.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition therapy into overall treatment plans.
• Participate in a new program that partners with marketing, communications, and community outreach to promote health initiatives.
• Deliver education and counseling to members via telehealth platforms and in‑person visits as needed.
• Track and report outcomes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Travel up to 10% of the time to attend conferences, community events, and training sessions.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Registered Dietician (RD) license.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• At least 2 years of clinical nutrition experience, preferably in managed care or health services.
• Strong communication skills for virtual and face‑to‑face interactions.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
