Job Summary

WALGREENS is seeking a Hybrid Pharmacist to work 4 days in retail locations across Missouri and 1 day remotely from Prathersville, Boone County. This role ensures safe compounding, dispensing, review and verification of medications while supporting centralized services.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately compound, dispense, and verify prescription medications in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide patient counseling and medication therapy management both in‑store and via remote channels.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians, call‑center staff, and micro‑fulfillment teams to ensure seamless service.
• Utilize pharmacy management systems to process orders, manage inventory, and generate reports.
• Participate in one day per week of remote work, handling centralized pharmacy services such as clinical consults, medication reconciliation, and documentation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of drug interactions, dosage guidelines, and emerging therapies.
• Adhere to WALGREENS corporate policies, safety standards, and quality assurance procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active Pharmacist license in Missouri.
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) required.
• Minimum 1‑2 years of retail pharmacy experience; experience with remote pharmacy services is a plus.
• Strong communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software (e.g., PioneerRx, QS/1) and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule: four on‑site retail days and one remote day per week.
