About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

Budget & Timeline Management

Prepare and manage project budgets, monitoring expenditures against forecasts. Implement cost‑control measures and negotiate with vendors to achieve optimal pricing. Ensure projects adhere to agreed timelines, reporting status to senior leadership on a weekly basis.

Team Leadership & Communication

Lead multidisciplinary teams of electrical engineers, technicians, and contractors. Foster a collaborative environment that emphasizes safety, quality, and innovation. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, providing clear updates and resolving issues promptly.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

Ensure all work meets national electrical codes (NEC), OSHA safety regulations, and company quality standards. Coordinate audits, inspections, and certification processes, documenting outcomes for continuous improvement.

Requirements

Education & Certification

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Journeyman Electrician is required. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.

Experience

Minimum 7‑10 years of experience in electrical project management, with a proven track record managing projects valued at $5M or more. Familiarity with commercial, industrial, and utility sector electrical systems is essential.

Technical Skills
