About the Role

As a Remote Electrical Designer, you will be the architect behind cutting‑edge electrical systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects spanning the United States. You will collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to develop detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates that meet stringent safety and regulatory standards.

Your day-to-day will involve:

• Creating and reviewing 2D and 3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and Revit Electrical.
• Performing load calculations, voltage drop analyses, and short‑circuit studies.
• Co‑ordinating with mechanical and structural teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Preparing NEC compliance reports and assisting in code updates.
• Managing revisions and maintaining a robust library of electrical components and symbols.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands‑on electrical design experience in a professional setting.
• Proven proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Revit Electrical.
• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.

Technical & Soft Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
